Eat Right
Nothing you do to stay healthy will help unless you eat right. A balanced diet is essential to your overall health so don't underestimate the power of the vegetable!
Stay Active
Exercising regularly can add years to your life and help keep your body functioning in a balanced way. Exercise does not have to be vigorous. Even walking around your block a couple times every day can keep your joints limber and your body in proper working order.
Calcium
Many people don't get enough calcium in their diet. Just because you aren't a kid anymore doesn't mean you don't need to keep drinking your milk. Your bones are your emergency supply of calcium. When your body doesn't get the calcium it needs from the food you eat it takes it directly from your bones, potentially causing major problems such as weak joints, weak bones, and osteoporosis. The most available source of calcium is milk but you can also get calcium from dark green vegetables, nuts, grains, beans, and of course vitamin supplements.
